On the heels of our successful tour with Yoseph Haddad, I am reaching out to share some exciting news – in under two weeks, Allied Voices for Israel (AVI) is sending a cohort of university students, Jewish and non-Jewish allies alike, on our Common Ground educational mission to Israel!
Students will explore the diversity and democracy of the Jewish State and meet with several high-profile experts, politicians, and journalists. They will visit sites affected by the Oct. 7th attacks, engage in conversations with Israelis and Arabs from across the political spectrum, and get an on-the-ground experience during an unprecedented time in Israel's history.
Students will receive training to prepare them to serve as AVI ambassadors for Israel and human rights on 13 university campuses across Canada, including the University of Toronto, Concordia University, University of Victoria, University of Calgary, University of British Columbia, York University, McGill University, and others!
To support this program and other AVI initiatives, all donations to AVI are FOUR TIMES MATCHED thanks to our generous matching donors – but only for the next 48 hours!
Please consider making a tax-deductible donation and support our mission – all donations will be matched until Wednesday, Dec. 19th at 9am ET!

Amidst a sea of rising antisemitism on campus, AVI is working to unite Jewish students and our allies to inspire a new generation of Israel advocates on campus.
When our students return to campus, they serve as proud advocates for Israel and human rights by building proactive alliances (see here), utilizing our campus tabling campaigns, standing up against antisemitism and BDS, attending educational workshops and programs, organizing BUYcotts (see here), and other opportunities to educate their peers.
Our students play a crucial role as Ambassadors for Israel and human rights at their respective schools, fostering dialogue and understanding. Because our students visit locales affected by the Oct. 7th attacks such as the Nova Festival site, they are also better equipped to tell Israel's story amidst rising antisemitism on campus and around the world.
This year alone, AVI has inspired thousands of Canadians and students across the country to advocate for Israel, reaching students from coast to coast. We have educated hundreds of Catholic students on anti-Zionism and Jewish indigeneity to Israel and our resources on the subjects were recently distributed at an Indigenous conference in Winnipeg.
Please help us reach our fundraising goal and unite a new generation of Israel advocates. Thank you for your incredible generosity and support!
