We are excited to announce that in January, in partnership with HonestReporting Canada, which ensures fair and accurate Canadian media coverage of Israel, we are launching our Campus Media Fellowship! Applications are now open for our 2025 cohort.
Our innovative and exclusive program teaches college and university students how to change the narrative about Israel by publishing editorials, columns, and news reports in student, international, Jewish, and national media.

Students will participate in three mandatory workshops to learn practical writing and editing skills, learn from expert speakers, and gain the ability to put pen to paper and ensure their voices are heard. Each successful student will receive a stipend upon completion.
Our 2024 cohort of Campus Media Fellows included student representatives from campuses across Canada, including the University of British Columbia, University of Toronto, Concordia University, University of Calgary, University of Waterloo, York University, and others.

Our HRC/AVI 2024 Campus Media Fellows attend a webinar with Col. Richard Kemp
Our mandatory workshops for the fellowship are designed not just to learn practical writing skills, but to hear from expert speakers in the Israel advocacy and publishing space.
Our 2024 cohort of students heard from Col. Richard Kemp, Former Commander of British Forces in Afghanistan, and an incredible ally to Israel. He discussed Israel’s morality war, specifically relating to the recent events of October 7th.
They also heard from Canadian Lawyer, Author, Political Consultant, and ally Warren Kinsella, who spoke to our fellows about how to best leverage our writing and advocacy skills in a post-October 7th world. You can hear an excerpt from his talk here.
