Students take part in #WeRemember campaign, host AMA at Wilfrid Laurier, and hear from Holocaust survivor Sol Nayman at Osgoode Hall Law School
We are incredibly proud of the dozens of students, Jewish and non-Jewish alike, and staff with Allied Voices for Israel (AVI) who took part in the #WeRemember campaign to commemorate International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
Students representing university campuses across the country took part in the campaign and also marked the day through other initiatives.
AVI Common Ground Ambassador Taddy Grechanick and other students host an AMA at Wilfrid Laurier University
At Wilfrid Laurier University, our Common Ground Ambassador Taddy Grechanick took part in an Ask Me Anything-style tabling with his fellow students on campus to promote awareness of International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
The students showcased a banner that says “I’m Jewish, Ask Me Anything” and engaged in conversations with their peers, speaking to the parallels between the Oct. 7th attacks and the Holocaust.
