On behalf of Allied Voices for Israel (AVI), I am excited to share that we are bringing Syrian-Lebanese advocate Rawan Osman to Vancouver for an intimate conversation about her journey and goal of fostering dialogue and peace between the Arab world and Israel.
Raised in a Hezbollah stronghold, Rawan Osman once viewed Israel through the lens of conflict. Her firsthand experiences shattered that narrative — transforming her into a powerful voice for peace between Israel and the Arab world. From addressing the UN to founding Arabs Ask, Osman challenges extremism and inspires change.
AVI brought Osman to Montreal to speak with students and community members earlier this year. We are grateful for our partnership with Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver, Vancouver Stands With Israel, and Temple Sholom on our upcoming event, generously sponsored by Pollock Clinics.
Tragic Awakening: A New Look at the Oldest Hatred with Rawan Osman will take place on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 7pm PT.
The VIP Meet & Greet will begin at 6pm PT and the location will be shared closer to the event date.

Even in the face of grief and devastation, we must choose hope.
One of our incredible High School Ambassadors recently visited the NOVA exhibition in Toronto, a powerful and emotional tribute. Her powerful reflection reminds us of the strength in remembering and the importance of standing together.

Over 56,000 people showed up in Toronto to celebrate, support, and walk with Israel!
From families and students to allies across cultures and faiths, the energy was powerful, joyful, and united.
In a time when it can feel hard to stand proud, events like this remind us that we are not alone. A big shout-out to UJA Federation of Greater Toronto for putting this important walk together.

AVI was proud to be an organizing partner at Sunday's Vancouver Walk with Israel!
We celebrated with the incredible Jewish community and stood shoulder to shoulder with amazing allies — including members of the Iranian, Christian, and Hindu communities proudly waving their flags. It was truly an incredible sight to see.
AVI and our BC Campus Advisor Stefanie Broit were proud to partner with Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver, EndJewHatred, and Vancouver Stands with Israel on this wonderful initiative!
